I graduated from Doane College, Crete, NE with a natural science degree and secondary education degree. I obtained my master degree in secondary education with emphasis in biology from UNO. Became National Board Certified Teacher in 1999. I have since also taken 24 graduate credits - to keep teaching college level biology courses; so I have a masters degree + 24!!! Have been married to Mike for 29 years. I teach all high school science classes: physical science, biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy & physiology, and college level general biology. I have taught the college level general biology since the beginning of the program: honors early start for high school students to take college level classes from IWCC in high school. This program started in 1995, 25 years!! I also am an adjunct professor for the Atlantic IWCC center in the summer. I am the Cass County Fair Superintendent for the Dog show and also help the kids obedience train their dogs. In my "spare" time I like to run, garden and quilt.
